Licensed Nurse: In the United Stats a nurse can earn a license through a test conducted by the National Council Licensure Examination. This is done after a student successfully completes an educational program at a community college, hospital, a vocational school or a University. The license given by this authority can be of two types namely: LCLEX-PN for Practical Nurse (LPN) or NCLEX-RN for Registered Nurse (RN). The average salary of an LPN ranges is $ 16 to $ 19 an hour. Advanced Practiced Nursing: A professional nurse holding a master’s degree in a particular area and is capable of providing one-on-one patient services that are mostly similar to that of a physician; nursing salary ranges $ 70,000 to $ 160,000.
Specialty Nurse: A nurse with specialized practice has a wide-ranging number of options. Each of the specialty, either a forensic nurse or a cardiovascular nurse; have its own unique salary. Some of the specialized nursing professionals such as forensic nursing, legal nurse consulting and travel nurse, and insurance nurse are typically paid on hourly basis.
